The University of Louisiana at Lafayette applauds the historic announcement that SpaceX will establish operations in Vermilion Parish and is fully prepared to support Louisiana's emergence as a center for the commercial space industry.
University President Dr. Ramesh Kolluru congratulated Gov. Jeff Landry and Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Susan B. Bourgeois, whose "extraordinary leadership helped secure this transformational investment for Louisiana."
