GEORGETOWN, Texas, Oct. 8 -- Williamson County issued the following news release:
Williamson County celebrated an important milestone in the construction of East WilCo Highway on Thursday, Oct. 8.
Williamson County cut the ribbon on East WilCo Highway Segment 2, which constructed a new roadway between CR 137 and CR 404 with one travel lane in each direction and a center turn lane. With the completion of segment 2, East WilCo Highway now connects SH 130 in Pflugerville to Chandler Road in Taylor. The full buildout of East WilCo Highway will connect SH 130 in the far south of the county to I-35 in Jarrell.
