GEORGETOWN, Texas, Aug. 21 -- Williamson County issued the following news release:
The Williamson County Commissioners Court approved an economic development agreement Thursday, Aug. 20, related to a proposed Blue Origin project in Hutto.
If the project moves forward, Blue Origin would invest $650 million in Williamson County within 10 years and create up to 2,000 jobs with an estimated average annual salary of approximately $88,000 over five years.
The proposed project also includes:
* Fifteen paid summer internships for high school students from across Williamson County;
* Collaboration with Hutto ISD to support career and technical education programs, teachers and local educational facilities;
