WASHINGTON, D.C. - Seniors on Medicare will have better and more secure access to quality health care services - including critical kidney care - thanks to legislation recently approved by the Ways and Means Committee. Under the Main Street Pharmacy Access Act (H.R. 3164), pharmacists will be allowed to receive Medicare reimbursements for administering tests and treatments for common respiratory illnesses like strep throat, influenza, and RSV.
