Start the year off in a meaningful way with the Welcome-Back Smudge Ceremony at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at the American Indian Education Center, 706 5th St.
Led by Dave Browneagle, the Smudge Ceremony is a meaningful way to welcome the new year, start the day with good intentions, and come together in a spirit of reflection, positivity and community. This gathering offers an opportunity to begin the academic year with good vibes, gratitude and a renewed sense of purpose.
