Today, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) questioned Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on the Trump Administration's lack of preparedness for the illegal war with Iran, including pushing him on the delayed care that injured Wisconsin servicemembers received after sustaining brain injuries from Iranian attacks in Kuwait. While Secretary Hegseth testified in front of the Senate Defense Appropriations Subcommittee today to defend President Trump's Fiscal Year 2027 budget proposal, it was also his first time in front of Baldwin since the war began months ago.
