PEMBROKE, N.C., July 31 -- The University of North Carolina at Pembroke issued the following news release:
The UNC Pembroke Board of Trustees has elected a new slate of officers to help guide the university as it advances key
strategic initiatives and continues to expand opportunities for student success.
Allison Harrington Walters has been elected chair, Kenneth Robinette vice chair and
retired Col. Carlos Berdecia, secretary. Student Government Association President
and senior Mass Communication student Elijah Griffin also joins the board as an ex
officio member.
