VALDOSTA - Valdosta State University leaders Joseph A. Brownlee and A. Blake Pearce have been selected to serve as honorary deputy commanders through Moody Air Force Base's 23d Wing Honorary Commander Program, strengthening the partnership between the university and the local military community.
Through the program, community leaders are paired with units across the base to build relationships and gain a deeper understanding of Air Force operations. Brownlee and Pearce will serve as ambassadors between Moody Air Force Base and the surrounding community while engaging directly with base leadership and personnel.
