WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Eugene Vindman (D-Va.-07) joined Congressman Suhas Subramanyam (D-Va.-10) and Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) in a letter warning the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) about the potential consequences of the proposed merger between NextEra Energy, Inc. ("NextEra") and Dominion Energy ("Dominion"), and urged the regulator to closely examine the deal and block it if it would increase consumers' energy costs or otherwise fail to meet public interest requirements.
