Veena Misra, head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been appointed interim dean of NCState's College of Engineering, effective May 11. Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Warwick Arden made the announcement today.
A three-time graduate of NCState, Misra is M.C. Dean Distinguished University Professor, founding director and lead principal investigator of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Engineering Research Center on Advanced Self-Powered Systems of Integrated Sensors and Technologies (ASSIST).
