LARAMIE, Wyo., June 16 -- The University of Wyoming issued the following news release:
The University of Wyoming's Sheridan Research and Extension Center (ShREC) will host
its annual field day Wednesday, July 1, at 663 Wyarno Road.
The event, which is free and open to the public, begins at 8:30 a.m.
The field day will celebrate the 110th anniversary of the center's Wyarno research
and extension location. ShREC maintains the historic Wyarno location as a dryland
research farm, in addition to conducting research at the irrigated Adams Ranch location.
"Much of the work at the station in recent years has come full circle," says Tyler
