ARLINGTON, Texas, Aug. 12 -- The University of Texas at Arlington issued the following news release:
The University of Texas at Arlington ranked among the top 25% of universities worldwide in the 2026 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, earning recognition for its commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which address global challenges such as poverty, inequality, health, education and climate change.
Overall, UTA placed in the 301-400 band out of 1,603 participating universities. UTA submitted data for 13 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)-well above the minimum of four required-and ranked among the top 25% globally in six SDG categories, one more than in 2025.
