WASHINGTON, Oct. 26 -- The U.S. Navy issued the following news release:
The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McFaul (DDG 74) returned to Naval Station Norfolk, Oct. 23, 2026, concluding an 11-month deployment to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operation.
During McFaul's deployment, it employed the Aegis Combat System, providing multi-mission offensive and defensive capabilities during the buildup and execution of Operation Epic Fury. The warship provided anti-air warfare, surface warfare, and naval surface fire support during combat operations, integrating with the USS Abraham Lincoln, USS George H.W. Bush, and USS George Washington Carrier Strike Groups.
