MOBILE, Ala., April 16 -- University of South Alabama issued the following news release:

University of South Alabama recently announced the newly elected 2026-27 Student Government Association officers.

Karrington Foley, a senior professional health sciences major with a concentration in management from Huntsville, Alabama, has been elected president. She is a graduate of Sparkman High School.

"I am elated to serve as the next president of the USA Student Government Association," Karrington said. "When I first stepped on campus, I knew it was a place of great opportunity, but I never imagined that I would become president of the SGA at South. I am grateful to the students for voting for me.
