ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,603,868, issued on April 14, was assigned to Zscaler Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).
"Endpoint data loss prevention" was invented by Arun Bhallamudi (Fremont, Calif.) and Narinder Paul (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods include receiving Data Loss Prevention (DLP) configurations for one or more devices, wherein the DLP configurations define how exfiltration of sensitive data is protected for the one or more devices; monitoring traffic of the one or more devices; and scanning the traffic of the one or more devices using the DLP configurations assigned to the one or more devices."
