ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,766,006, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to Zavation Medical Product LLC (Flowood, Miss.).

"Expanding orthopedic implant" was invented by Joseph Matthew Jones (Madison, Miss.) and John Lawrence Walker (Madison, Miss.).
