ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,588,521, issued on March 24, was assigned to Wolfspeed Inc. (Durham, N.C.).

"Metal nitride core-shell particle die-attach material" was invented by Afshin Dadvand (Durham, N.C.) and Devarajan Balaraman (Apex, N.C.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Die attach materials are provided. In one example, the die-attach material includes a plurality of core-shell particles.
