ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,696,381, issued on July 28, was assigned to Wiliot Ltd. (Caesarea, Israel).

"Electrostatic discharge collector" was invented by Alon Yehezkely (Haifa, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "According to a first aspect of the present disclosed subject matter, an electronic circuit printed on a substrate by roll-to-roll system having grounding brushes, the electronic circuit, comprising: a plurality of traces; and at least one electrostatic discharge (ESD) collector; wherein the ESD collector envelops the plurality of traces, and wherein the ESD collector is disposed on the substrate to enable electrical contact with the grounding brushes."...
