ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,626,720, issued on May 12, was assigned to Western Digital Technologies Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Tape head module having a congruent extension and method for mass producing same" was invented by Robert G. Biskeborn (Hollister, Calif.) and Eduardo Torres Mireles (San Jose, Calif.).
