ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 1 -- United States Patent no. 12,724,412, issued on Sept. 1, was assigned to Waymo LLC (Mountain View, Calif.).

"Controlling vehicles through multi-lane turns" was invented by Jared Stephen Russell (San Francisco), Jens-Steffen Ralf Gutmann (Cupertino, Calif.) and Pei Sun (Palo Alto, Calif.).
