US Patent Issued to VIVO MOBILE COMMUNICATION on Oct. 20 for "Power saving during channel occupancy time (COT) of an unlicensed band" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,772,168, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to VIVO MOBILE COMMUNICATION Co. LTD. (Dongguan, China).

"Power saving during channel occupancy time (COT) of an unlicensed band" was invented by Na Li (Dongguan, China) and Xueming Pan (Dongguan, China).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An indication method of a power saving mode includes: instructing, by a network side device in a channel occupancy time (COT) of an unlicensed band, a terminal to enter a power saving mode."

The patent was filed on Jan. 31, 2023, under Application No. 18/162,388.
