ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,751,612, issued on Oct. 6, was assigned to Verily Health Inc. (Dallas).

"Eye tracking color vision tests" was invented by Supriyo Sinha (Menlo Park, Calif.), Dimitri Azar (Chicago), Kirk Gossage (Pacifica, Calif.), Sam Kavusi (Mountain View, Calif.), Prachi Shah (Menlo Park, Calif.) and Alexandre Tumlinson (San Leandro, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Virtual reality, VR, headset-based and open-display based electronic systems that can be used to perform color vision tests. The systems may improve the sensitivity, consistency, and ease of application of the tests. Other aspects are also described."
