ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,679,996, issued on July 14, was assigned to VAMPIRE OPTICAL COATINGS INC. (Pataskala, Ohio).
"Dual cure thermoformable coating and coated articles" was invented by Tom Faris (Mount Perry, Ohio).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A coating has dual curing mechanisms wherein the first cure reaction and second cure reaction become active due to differing reaction mechanisms."
