ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,674,728, issued on July 7, was assigned to VALMET AUTOMATION OY (Espoo, Finland).
"Filtrate sampling device" was invented by Pasi Karki (Kajaani, Finland) and Jesse Jansa (Ristijarvi, Finland).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A novel filtrate sampling device for collecting a filtrate sample from a pulp solution. The filtrate sampling device includes: a jacket, a piston rod including a first end and second end, the piston rod being arranged inside the said jacket in the longitudinal direction of the jacket, and a hole screen arranged on the piston rod. The hole screen includes a number of holes in the piston rod."
