ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,582,613, issued on March 24, was assigned to University of Virginia Patent Foundation (Charlottesville, Va.) and Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (Madison, Wis.).

"Biomimetic, reactive oxygen species-detonable nanoclusters for antirestenotic therapy" was invented by Kenneth Craig Kent (Charlottesville, Va.), Lian-Wang Guo (Madison, Wis.), Bowen Wang (Charlottesville, Va.), Takuro Shirasu (Charlottesville, Va.), Shaoqin Gong (Middleton, Wis.) and Yi Zhao (Madison, Wis.).
