US Patent Issued to Universal Display on May 12 for "Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" (New Jersey Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,623,919, issued on May 12, was assigned to Universal Display Corp. (Ewing, N.J.).

"Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" was invented by Hsiao-Fan Chen (Lawrence Township, N.J.) and Peter Wolohan (Princeton Junction, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are organometallic compounds. Also provided are formulations comprising these organometallic compounds. Further provided are OLEDs and related consumer products that utilize these organometallic compounds."
