ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,595,271, issued on April 7, was assigned to UDC IRELAND Ltd. (Dublin).
"Aromatic compounds for organic electroluminescent devices" was invented by Philipp Stoessel (Darmstadt, Germany) and Rouven Linge (Darmstadt, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to compounds which are suitable for use in electronic devices, and to electronic devices, in particular organic electroluminescent devices, containing said compounds."
The patent was filed on Dec. 15, 2020, under Application No. 17/785,421.
