ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,765,452, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to Turf Equipment Services LLC (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.).
"Reel lawnmower for mowing greens" was invented by Tracey Forbes (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A reel mower particularly adapted for mowing portions of a golf course, such as greens and tees, is provided. It is self-propelled by a motor with a ground engaging drive system that allows at least one drive member to freewheel during turns. It is also provided with a toolless means to adjust cutting height."
