"Dual ledger syncing" was invented by Damien Patton (Plano, Texas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In certain aspects, a computer-implemented method includes monitoring data entries written on a private Web2 ledger. The computer-implemented method includes recording the data entries written on the private Web2 ledger to an immutable public Web3 ledger."
