US Patent Issued to TOYOTA JIDOSHA on Sept. 8 for "Electrode and all-solid-state battery" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,731,780, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to TOYOTA JIDOSHA K.K. (Toyota, Japan).

"Electrode and all-solid-state battery" was invented by Heidy Hodex Visbal Mendoza (Nagoya, Japan) and Masaru Kubota (Okazaki, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electrode comprises a sulfide-based solid electrolyte and a composite particle. The sulfide-based solid electrolyte includes S and P, has a PS4 crystalline phase, and has a molar ratio of the PS4 crystalline phase to a total amount of phases consisting of P and S of 60% or more.
