ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,596,382, issued on April 7, was assigned to TOYOTA JIDOSHA K.K. (Toyota, Japan).

"Moving body configured to lead a vehicle based on sensing a region around the vehicle" was invented by Kazuo Yaegashi (Tokyo) and Hiroki Izu (Tokyo).
