ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,560,276, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to TOPCON Corp. (Tokyo).
"Target support tool" was invented by Nobuyuki Nishita (Tokyo), Toshio Yamada (Tokyo), Kunpei Komagamine (Tokyo), Noriyasu Kiryuu (Tokyo) and Ryosuke Jinnouchi (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A target support tool includes: a base member including a first arm and a second arm connectable to each other to form a bent therebetween; a magnetic support part at least on the first arm; and a retroreflector at the bent of the base member."
The patent was filed on Sept. 27, 2022, under Application No. 17/935,895.
