ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,605,344, issued on April 21, was assigned to The Trustees of Princeton University (Princeton, N.J.).
"Nanoparticles encapsulating soluble biologics, therapeutics, and imaging agents" was invented by Robert F. Pagels (Princeton, N.J.) and Robert K. Prud'Homme (Princeton, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An "inverse" precipitation route to precipitate aqueous soluble species with copolymers as nanoparticles having a hydrophilic, polar core and a less polar shell is described."
The patent was filed on Dec. 16, 2022, under Application No. 18/083,458.
