US Patent Issued to The Toro on July 21 for "Turf management" (Minnesota Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,685,274, issued on July 21, was assigned to The Toro Co. (Bloomington, Minn.).

"Turf management" was invented by Van Willis Cline (St. Paul, Minn.), Kathleen Sue Rice (Faribault, Minn.) and Troy David Carson (Richfield, Minn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A turf management system includes an irrigation system for providing water to the turf at a turf site, and an irrigation evaluation system for evaluating the performance of the irrigation system.
