ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,649,008, issued on June 9, was assigned to The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.).

"Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy" was invented by Julie L. Sutcliffe (Davis, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides methods and related compositions that incorporate a molecularly targeted approach via the integrin subtype AlphavBeta6 using Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) and a theranostic approach."
