ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,485,182, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.) and Purdue Research Foundation (West Lafayette, Ind.).

"Proteoglycan mimetics for enhanced wound healing, angiogenesis, and vascular repair" was invented by Alyssa Panitch (Oakland, Calif.), Emily Michelle Misnick (Oakland, Calif.), Jenny B. Lin (Oakland, Calif.), Kit S. Lam (Davis, Calif.), Ruiwu Liu (Oakland, Calif.), Dake Hao (Oakland, Calif.) and Aijun Wang (Sacramento, Calif.).
