US Patent Issued to The Kyjen on Oct. 20 for "Treat dispensing toy" (Colorado, California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,765,511, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to The Kyjen Co. LLC (Centennial, Colo.).

"Treat dispensing toy" was invented by Danielle Salyer (Denver), Jeffrey Paris (Los Angeles), Lynn Rosen (Parker, Colo.) and Amanda Benham (Centennial, Colo.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pet toy includes a base including a bowl, a pair of columns extending from the base, a dispenser rotatably coupled to the pair of columns, the dispenser including a reservoir configured to store food and at least one opening configured to dispense to food as the dispenser rotates. The bowl is configured to catch and hold food dispensed from the dispenser."
