ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,595,490, issued on April 7, was assigned to The Jackson Laboratory (Bar Harbor, Maine).

"Non-HLA matched humanized NSG mouse model with patient-derived xenograft" was invented by James Keck (Granite Bay, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention described herein provides non-HLA matched humanized mouse model (e.g., NSG mouse model) with patient-derived xenograft (PDX), as well as methods of making and using the same."

The patent was filed on Jan. 6, 2022, under Application No. 17/569,788.
