ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,605,428, issued on April 21, was assigned to The General Hospital Corp. (Boston) and Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research (Cambridge, Mass.).
"Kinase NEK10 and its use in treating and diagnosing bronchiectasis and other respiratory disorders" was invented by Raghu R. Chivukula (Somerville, Mass.) and David M. Sabatini (Cambridge, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Aspects of the present disclosure provide compositions comprising NEK10 for example, wild-type NEK10 or a hyperactive NEK10 mutant such as NEK10S684D, and methods of using such for treating a respiratory disorder such as bronchiectasis."
