ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,559,237, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to The Boeing Co. (Arlington, Va.).

"Combination monument having lavatory and galley for an internal cabin of an aircraft" was invented by Sachel Davis-Delano (Shoreline, Wash.), Paul Addis (Bothell, Wash.), Rohan Srinivas Sharma (Mountlake Terrace, Wash.) and Justin Tabora (Bothell, Wash.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A combination monument for an internal cabin of an aircraft includes a housing defining an internal chamber. A lavatory is within the internal chamber. A galley is coupled to the housing."
