ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,583,603, issued on March 24, was assigned to Textron Innovations Inc. (Providence, R.I.).

"Autothrottle system for aircraft" was invented by Alec Charles Willford (Wichita, Kan.), Ronald J. Parker (Wichita, Kan.) and Michael R. DePinto (Wichita, Kan.).
