ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,577,251, issued on March 17, was assigned to Temple University-Of The Commonwealth System of Higher Education (Philadelphia).

"Modulators of the sigma-2 receptor and their method of use" was invented by Benjamin E. Blass (Eagleville, Pa.), Daniel J. Canney (Ambler, Pa.) and Kevin M. Blattner (Folsom, Pa.).
