ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,738,167, issued on Sept. 15, was assigned to TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITAT DRESDEN (Germany) and VODAFONE GMBH (Germany).

"Method for monitoring a vehicle convoy by means of vehicle-to-vehicle communication" was invented by Norman Franchi (Dresden, Germany), Arturo Antonio Gonzalez Rodriguez (Dresden, Germany) and Jurgen Caldenhoven (Dusseldorf, Germany).
