ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,550,923, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to Tate & Lyle Solutions USA LLC (Hoffman Esates, Ill.).

"Allulose syrups" was invented by Ryan Woodyer (Hoffman Esates, Ill.) and Peter Lloyd-Jones (Hoffman Estates, Ill.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to allulose syrups, use of allulose syrups in the manufacture of food or beverage products, and food and beverage products made using the allulose syrups."

The patent was filed on April 17, 2023, under Application No. 18/135,465.
