ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,732,365, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to Synopsys Inc. (Sunnyvale, Calif.).

"Adding scalar blinding in elliptic curve cryptography" was invented by A. A. Jithra Adikari (Ottawa) and Rudolphus J. C. Derwig (Eindhoven, Netherlands).
