US Patent Issued to Syngenta Crop Protection on Sept. 1 for "Lithodora plant named 'LTHZ0001'" (Dutch Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 1 -- United States Patent no. PP37,658, issued on Sept. 1, was assigned to Syngenta Crop Protection AG (Basel, Switzerland).

"Lithodora plant named 'LTHZ0001'" was invented by Monique Juist (Enkhuizen, Netherlands).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new Lithodora plant named 'LTHZ0001' particularly distinguished by its medium sized flowers, a dense branching plant, a blue flower color, medium early flowering, and a semi trailing to mounding plant habit."

The patent was filed on Feb. 25, 2025, under Application No. 19/062,093.
