ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. PP37,534, issued on July 21, was assigned to Syngenta Crop Protection AG (Basel, Switzerland).

"Chrysanthemum plant named 'CIDZ0124'" was invented by Wendy R. Bergman (Gilroy, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new Chrysanthemum plant named 'CIDZ0124' particularly distinguished by its large white single-type inflorescences, excellent flower production, compact growth and spreading plant habit, and uniform flowering with a response time of 6.5 weeks when grown under short days."

The patent was filed on Dec. 17, 2025, under Application No. 19/423,222.
