US Patent Issued to Stryker European Operations on Sept. 8 for "Methods for shoulder prostheses" (Indiana Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,728,019, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to Stryker European Operations Ltd. (Ireland).

"Methods for shoulder prostheses" was invented by Brian C. Hodorek (Warsaw, Ind.) and Shawn Martin Gargac (Fort Wayne, Ind.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is a method for converting a modular anatomic shoulder implant to a modular reverse shoulder implant, wherein the modular anatomic shoulder implant and the modular reverse shoulder implant have novel configurations."

The patent was filed on May 3, 2023, under Application No. 18/311,480.
