ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,602,233, issued on April 14, was assigned to STMicroelectronics International N.V. (Geneva).
"Boot program emulation method" was invented by Jawad Benhammadi (Pont de Claix, France).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In a method of emulation of N boot programs in a memory, N being an integer greater than 2, the size of a no-access region of the memory containing the boot programs is increased in response to execution of each boot program."
The patent was filed on Feb. 2, 2024, under Application No. 18/430,825.
