ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,669,243, issued on June 30, was assigned to Steffes LLC (Dickinson, N.D.).

"Pilot gas preheating for a gas flare pilot burner" was invented by Dean A. Kovash (Dickinson, N.D.), Tyson Meidinger (Dickinson, N.D.) and Mackenzie J. Elmer (Dickinson, N.D.).
